About the Kingdom of Gwynedd

Welcome to the Kingdom of Gwynedd we are the oldest active foam fighting group in the world.  The group was founded in the early 80’s in Woodbridge, VA based out of the White Dragon Hobby Shop.  Over time Gwynedd has under gone many changes most of them for the good of the group and some not so good, we have survived outside invasions of great armies, and we have been attacked from the inside by the egos and warped minds of politics. But in the end the heart of Gwynedd has risen to face the enemies of the kingdom no matter what they may have been.  In the early days of the kingdom we were called the Free Company of Gwynedd; we had several groups that lived within our lands and fought under our banner, groups like the Black Dragon’s, the Free Merc’s, Osscar’s and many others.  Gwynedd has seen several rulers over the last 20 plus years…The rulers of Gwynedd have been Queen Rayne Wyndhaven, Prince Trystan Wyndhaven, Prince Faulknera, King Finn Wyndhaven, King Owen Wyndhaven, and now King Lorrymar Wyndhaven may he rule in peace and the lands prosper. The thing to remember about Gwynedd is she is more then a Dagorhir group, she is a family and will out live everything by living on in the hearts and souls of the loyal forever.  The main thing we strive for is to have fun, ever sense day one its all ways been about fun, we have always strived as Kinsmen, Knights and just people is to better our personal selves and have fun….and to be apart of something so special that was lost so long ago.  So if you think you have what it takes then come out and join us and be part of the legend!
